do you sell your shirts in any other place/do you plan on selling them, because there are a lot i would love to buy but i don’t have money to do it, so they landed on my ‘to buy when i’m rich and famous’ list
i’m not really sure!!! i’ll have a look around some other on-demand shirt sites and see if any of them appeal to me because i’m so unimpressed by society6’s shirts….
ahhh, i could care less for the marketing teams intentions in that regard tbh, I'm just talking about the end result of their choice of posing and the effect it created for me, wether or not they *wanted* that effect isn't what I'm pointing out. I just think it's a good alternative to the 'brooding action girl' you'd prefer, especially because it doesn't blatantly go for the sex route. I understand everyones frustration with the photoshop... but thats as far as the complaints can really go.
ok well i didn’t really want to expand any more on this because i don’t like trying to put thoughts into words
but i honest to god feel you are in the minority thinking this poster “doesn’t blatantly go for the sex route” because everything about the passive sultry pinup pose is like. unashamedly reducing her character to the obligatory hollywood hot lady instead of suggesting that her character goes deeper than stabbing and killing. that’s not what people are probably going to take away from the end result
which… like, why NOT emphasize that part, she’s literally an assassin and one of the most capable/active characters in the avengers?? come on this is black widow. we seriously aren’t in need of more passive “”“empowering”“” poses esp for characters it doesn’t suit
going straight for the obvious murdery route is so dull though... photoshop aside, the pose was interesting imo; statuesque, kind of angelic, suggestive of there being more to Black Widow than stabbing and killing.
i’m gonna be straight with you i feel like that’s giving their marketing team way too much credit
